Scot Seat Group to exhibit at Ignition Glasgow

Scot Seat has announced they will exhibit at the forthcoming Ignition Festival of Motoring which is taking place at the Glasgow SEC between 4-6 August.

Billed as a combination of all things motoring Scot Seats, who are based locally, will be displaying a range of their specialist seating products as well as having their historic race spec MG Midget.

Scot Seat, established in 2000, design and manufacture a variety of additional and replacement seats for all types of commercial vehicle (car derivered van to HGV) camper van, race transporter, taxi, wheelchair accessible vehicle, ambulance, fire engine, plant equipment, armoured and military vehicles  One of the most popular is their M1 tested bed seat, enabling small camper vans to have unrivalled comfort and safety using it either as a seat or bed. Scot Seats offer fitting at their manufacturing facility at Fenwick, South of Glasgow but also have resale agents and approved fitters nationwide.

This years’ Ignition promises everything that a motoring enthusiast will enjoy, with a street circuit set up to show off Classic, Rally, F1 and Le Mans cars.  In addition to the live events, there are many industry leading brands from the motoring world displaying their products to visitors.

Managing Director Jonathan Young commented, “We are delighted to be invited to exhibit at this event.  As visitors will see, as well as designing and manufacturing customised seating solutions, we are motoring enthusiasts too as can be seen from our historic race spec MG Midget, which is a replica of a car my father (Scot Seat founder, Alex Young) rallied in 1967.  I myself have competed in various National and International Championships in quads, car racing, rallying and currently motocross and historic rallying. Including the 2016 Historique Monte Carlo Rally that myself and my father took part in with a 1967 Volvo Amazon 123GT”.
