Scot Seats supply to Humber Inflatables new vessel.

Those who recently visited the Seawork exhibition will not have failed to notice the new Humber 10.5m on display on the pontoons

Scot Seat has worked with the team at Humber on a number of projects previously and this was no exception. The boat has been designed specifically as a high-speed interceptor and can carry passengers or storage in heavy seas over extended time periods using its large capacity fuel tanks.

The vessel is exposed therefore when in operation to potentially extreme sea states meant that the Scot Seat S2J Jockey Seats with full Shock Mitigation were a natural choice.

The vessel will be used by numerous operatives and therefore the seats have also been fitted with the new Height Adjustment Mechanism.  This easy to use mechanism means that with just one touch the seat can be adjusted to the ideal height making passengers comfortable as well as safe from impact shocks when using the seats.

Jonathan Young, Scot Seat Managing Director commented, “This new launch from Humber Inflatables embodies all our core principals that are incorporated in our seat design – comfort and safety – which makes them a popular choice for boat manufacturers.”
